About the author: Brandon
I’m almost 25 years old, living with my loving wife, Aradia, in rural western Oregon, near a little town called Swisshome. I’ve lived in this general area most of my life and I think it might stay that way, though I do get out and travel. I’m an aspiring farmer, writer, and philosopher with a mission to develop sustainable culture. I live on a tiny income that I get from social security disability because I was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome and cannot integrate into the job world. I make a little extra money fixing computers and doing odd jobs, and I plan to sell eggs, worms, fruits/vegetables, hand-crafted items, and other things from the farm. I spend a lot of time thinking about sustainability, culture, and the world, and I want to contribute something to the world that will be positively transforming.
On this web site, I intend to post articles, pictures, and videos chronicling my experiences and ideas as I continue endeavoring to live a sustainable physical lifestyle. I believe that living a sustainable life is important to the continuation of a thriving culture, and I am very interested in reaching a lot of people with information about it, and receiving it. All information on this web site is free for anyone to access, and always will be. I also have a web site dedicated to developing sustainable communication, at http://www.invertedsphere.com/
If you would like to contribute to any of my projects — information, materials, time, new project ideas, money, etc. — please contact me with the form below. I’m interested in considering anything you have in mind. By contributing to my projects, you will contribute to the world, because every project will be documented and presented on this web site in detail. The information being published will include facts from research and experience, ideas, step-by-step instructions, diagrams, pictures, videos, and other useful things. After enough time and projects pass, I would like to write a book or ten, too.
I hope you enjoy the site,
Brandon Farmer
